Supercap cork was born to meet those requirements that other bottling systems cannot yet guarantee.
The advantages are evident:: it does not spoil the wine flavour, it neither breaks nor crumbles during uncorking and constitutes an excellent seal thanks to its high elasticity. Made of expanded thermoplastic materials carefully mixed and submitted to a production process, controlled in all its phases, Supercap guarantees constancy of its dimensions, hardness and elastic recovery.
Spoiling the flavour
Supercap is made of non-toxic, scentless, tastless thermoplastic material certified and approved by European norms and USA norms to which they refer. It cannot be attacked either by moulds or parasites (TCA 2,4,6,Triclhoroanisole free - 2,3,4,6 Tetrachloroanisole free)
In the testing conditions adopted the total of migrations are inferior to the maximum limit established by the law in force for watery, acid and alcoholic simulants.
100% of production
No claims or return of "corked" wine. No additional redistribution expenses, and, especially, it is over with the unpleasant inconvenience, caused both to customers and consumers. Since when a bottle is rejected because of "corked" wine, one memorises the name on the label and not that of the cork producer.
Enviroment friendly
Esclusively composed by non-toxic synthetic materials, it neither impoverishes nor degrades the environment.
It does not contain any material, noxious to the atmosphere (no CFC), and can be fully recycled.
Oxigen impermeability
Supercap is highly impermeable to oxygen. Compared to traditional corks, it does not dry up in time and the wine ageing from one bottle to the other is almost uniform.
Appearance
Supercap is avaible in different colours. It can be coupled with the label or with the bottle and can differ from wine to wine. The indelible decoration with the winery trademark personalises in a refined way each cork and each bottle presentation.
Usage advantages
Supercap neither crumbles nor dusts, it maintains the corking -machine more efficient thanks to its dimensions and a regular and constant grade of compression.
Supercap is coated with a thin layer of lubricant which makes easier the insertion.
Compared to traditional stoppers, its excellent elasticity allows a more rapid recovery of its original volume, and after corking, the bottles can be turned or reclined without any undesirable leakages.
Tradition in uncorking
Supercap can be uncorked with a common corkscrew, without breaking or crumbling the stopper. The necessary force for the operation is similar to that used with traditional corks (from 20 to 35 kg.).
After the extraction, it can be inserted again in the bottle manually.
